1982 - the old planetarium is replaced by the new Zeiss Minor Planetarium II.

It represents the complete southern starlit skies and the orbit of the planets under the stars. The now 8 metre large dome also offers a larger space capacity of 90 seats (before there were only 60) and since the renovations in 1995, there are now even more comforts for the guests.
