Mini-family ticket (1 adult + 2 children up to the age of 14) 9,00 EUR
Maxi-family ticket (2 adults + 3 children up to the age of 14) 17,00 EUR
Holders of FamilienPass Berlin get a reduction of 3,00 EUR on each museum-family ticket. The FamilienPass Berlin is available from the museum shop for 6,00 EUR.

Free entrance:
- Children aged younger than six years are free.
- Children and teenagers 18 years old and under, or on the presentation of a valid student ID-Card (not valid for Tertiary Education) daily after 3 p. m.

Tickets are valid for same-day visits to the German Museum of Technology, the road traffic division "Man on the move" and our exhibition "The Network" in the Ladestrasse area and the Science Center Spectrum.

Please note:
- We also accept girocards.
- The ticket desks close half an hour before museum closing time.

Special offer of the German Museum of Technology Berlin (GMTB) in cooperation with the Berlin Museum of Natural History ("Museum für Naturkunde" of the Humboldt-University in Berlin):
If you - as an individual visitor - provide a ticket of the Museum of Natural History, we will offer your companion a free GMTB-ticket - and vice versa. It is not possible to combine this offer with group or family tickets or other reductions.

Parking space is limited in Trebbiner Strasse, but there is plenty of pay parking in Gleisdreieck multi-storey car park.

Guided tours and demonstrations

For information on our wide range of services for individual visitors, children’s birthday parties, disabled people, families, schools and tour parties please contact the Museumsdienst Berlin (Museum Service Berlin):

General tours, department tours, thematic tours and special tours for children and school classes cost EUR 30,00 (in German) or EUR 40,00 (in English) plus admission. Tours for adults cost EUR 60,00 (in German or English) plus admission. (Please book three weeks in advance)

Tours last about one hour, maximum size of group 30.

Photography and filming

Hand-held photography and video for personal, non-commercial use is permitted on the premises and in the grounds of the Stiftung Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin, as long as flash, lighting and tripods are not used.
For other purposes please apply in writing – well in advance – to info@sdtb.de.

Picnic areas

In the foyer of the entrance building and in the new extension (Aerospace exhibition, 3rd floor, near the lifts) there are rest areas where you can eat and drink. There are also marked picnic areas outdoors in the Museum Park.

Barrier-free access

We do everything we can to make our exhibitions and other services accessible to all visitors.
There is wheelchair access in the museum itself, but not in the historical brewery or the mills. In the Museum Park there is a specially designed tour for blind people through the buildings and attractions of this fascinating historical site.

Museum restaurants

Museum restaurant "Anhalt"

Bistro "Tor 25" (Phone: 030 / 26 39 47 20) is located besides the Science Center Spectrum (Möckernstr. 26).

Museum restaurant "TorEins" (Phone: 030 / 26 39 47 20) is located at the end of the Ladestraße area, just next to Gleisdreieck Park.
The opening times are:
May - September: daily 11 am - 22 pm,
Oktober - April: Tuesday to Sunday 11 am - 5:30 pm, closed on Monday.

Museum shops “Wasmuth im Museum”

Our shops "Wasmuth im Museum" stock all the accompanying materials for our and for the Science Center Spectrums exhibitions as well as many other scientifically themed products. You will find them in the entrance buildings.
