Useful visitor information at a glance

Please note - we apologize for any inconvenience!

  • Parts of the Shipping exhibition are closed
Parts of the permanent exhibition on Shipping (ground floor and first floor, new building) are closed due to renovation works from May 7 until the end of October, 2019. The second floor (Shipping) and the permanent exhibition on Aviation are accessible as usual.
  • Closures at short notice:
Due to personnel shortages, specific exhibition areas can at present be temporary closed on short notice (this applies primarily to the Brewery and the Beamtenhaus with the exhibitions on Chemicals and Pharmacy, Photography and Film Technology).
We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience and ask for your understanding.

  • Parking sites: Our forecourt at Tempelhofer Ufer (entry Spectrum / Ladestraße) was rebuilt for a barrier-free route:
    - The parking spaces for private cars are therefore very limited. We strongly recommend using public transport for your journey to and from the museum.
    - Access and parking space for buses in this area is no longer possible! Bus drivers are requested to let their passengers embark and disembark at Trebbiner Straße.
