Getting To Know the Museum

The Deutsches Technikmuseum presents the cultural history of technology on an extensive 26.500 square metre area. This guided tour introduces you to the highlights among our diverse exhibitions.

Discover magnificent locomotives, remarkable flying machines and impressive ships!

Hear the fascinating story of the recovery of a sunken barge and enjoy spectacular views from the terrace spread out beneath the "Candy Bomber", which has become the museum`s landmark. 

  • Dates: always the first Sunday of the month - in 2019: 7 July, 4 August, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November and 1 December
  • Time: 3.30 p.m.
  • Duration: about 60 minutes
